So curious as to what sort of team we're going to put out for this. Will he go for it, or will he rest players with this being the first of four games in 12 days?

Guardiola might well rest players too, but that just means we face 11 different £50m plus players....

Judging by the U23 team put out last night i'd suspect its going to be the first team squad. Whether he rotates or not is the issue. I suspect Areola Diop and Dawson will start.

Personally id leave Antonio, Soucek and Fornals on the bench

Shame Sideshow Bob Kral got COVID as he would have been the ideal "legs" needed to give Soucek or even Rice a rest but suspect old man Noble will come in. Still got vision, football brain, great passing etc. but simply not the speed, physicality, athleticism for the Prem now. A free kick or 3 may be conceded by Nobes.

As mentioned, whoever City put out there will be 50 million pound players throughout the line up. We have struggled so many times against them and while we should not be subject to the humiliations of recent years ( 9-0 aggregate losses etc) its going to be a huge ask to get past them. But knowing your team gives everything every game means there is always a chance and we have to hope that things go our way with decisions, run of the ball etc. A match winning performance by the post would be handy too like we had against Burnley 3 or 4 seasons back.

Its not on any UK TV channel so the "Armchair Massive" will need to fire up those VPNs and illegal streams tonight.

Guardiola said first that it will be a strong side due to premier opposition, then said it would be kids and then said it would be stronger than the side that they beat Wycombe with.

Unlike some I haven't suddenly changed my mind about this comp after the last round win and now think we should go flat in it. Not that fussed if we go out, but would be great to see us go through with a similar side that played at OT.
